History

SILVER ATENA was formed in 2008 with the merger of Silver Software and Atena Technology & Systems. The two companies’ capabilities cover a spectrum of systems, hardware and software engineering skills applied across multiple safety critical industries such as aerospace, automotive, defence, industrial and rail. The merger of the two companies brought together two successful independent companies with complimentary skills and domain knowledge to form one of the largest independent safety critical specialists in high integrity engineering.

Silver Software

In just under a decade Silver Software grew from humble beginnings to a company with operations in the UK, India and mainland Europe. Specialising in the development of safety critical software for the aerospace, rail and defence industries the company provided services to many of the worlds largest multi-national companies.

Atena Technology & Systems

Since 1998 Atena Engineering provided the European automotive and aerospace industries with high end engineering services. From requirements analysis through to commissioning and covering systems, hardware and software skills Atena’s services were relied on by customers within the highest profile programmes and companies.
