June 23rd, 2010: SILVER ATENA India achieves CEMILAC Approval
SILVER ATENA India has obtained a Design Approval from the Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC) following an assessment of our capabilities during February 2010.

May 18th, 2010: SILVER ATENA starts Agile Club
In August 2009, SILVER ATENA started an Agile Club. The Agile Club has been meeting at lunchtime once every two weeks since then. The aim of the Agile Club is to explore how to apply Agile methods to SILVER ATENA’s work, including safety-critical software development and verification projects.
May 15th, 2010: SILVER ATENA Technical Consultant, Peter Gardner, presents to the Open-DO Conference on Agile Methods and safety-critical Software
SILVER ATENA’s Peter Gardner has given a talk at the Open-DO conference about Agile methods of software development in relation to safety-critical software. Drawing on his many years of experience in the rail and aerospace industries Peter took the audience through key features of Agile development whilst considering the rigorous process requirements of safety-critical software development.
April 19th, 2010: SILVER ATENA is sponsoring member of the ZAL
SILVER ATENA has joined the „Verein zur Förderung der Angewandten Luftfahrtforschung“ – ZAL – as a sponsoring member this January. The ZAL (Centre for Applied Aviation Research) is a partnership of companies of the aviation industry, universities, research facilities and associations.
January 5th, 2010: New HIL Test Bench for Electronic Steering Systems
The University of Munich started operating a new test bench for electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanic steering systems. The test bench was constructed in close cooperation with Porsche AG; the car maker also guarantees a minimum utilisation of the test bench for the coming years. SILVER ATENA was the prime contractor responsible for the design and construction of the test bench.
