HARDWARE Engineering

Based on the requirements derived from the system development, SILVER ATENA builds the hardware which is able to fulfil the defined safety targets thanks to its architecture and reliability. Additionally, SILVER ATENA has established a hardware development process which meets the rigorous safety standards of the automotive (IEC 61508), aerospace (RTCA DO-254 / DO-160) and railway (EN 50129) industries. Maintaining the reliability requirements is analytically predicted in the design phase (FTA, FMEA, FMECA, FMEDA) and verified in the test phase (life cycle test, HAST). The combined expertise from the automotive, aerospace and railway industries enables the achievement of the best possible compromise between reliability, safety and cost.
