Our DC charger, iONiX, has been recognized with the Innovation Green award from the LR66 Automobile Awards in Paris. These awards recognize car manufacturers and equipment suppliers from around the world in a range of categories.
We’re particularly proud of this one for two reasons:
1. Our shareholder, Expleo Group, is French, so this is a win on home turf
2. The Innovation Green award is all about products that respect the environment and promote sustainability – which is our top priority.
Our nomination for this award highlighted the bidirectional charging technology of our iONiX charging station. This means that iONiX is not only attractively designed and super quiet, but also capable of feeding energy back to the grid when we need it – making your vehicle a reusable energy storage source. This addresses a core challenge for solar panels, which work great during the day but require a way to store energy for times when the sun isn’t shining.
