What is an electric Power Take-Off (ePTO)?
Electrification opens up completely new possibilities for the efficient design of various electrical and mechatronic applications in commercial vehicles.
With Silver Atena's ePTO auxiliary units can take electrical energy from the vehicle's on-board electrical system and use it for various additional functions.
It forms the bridge between the vehicle's HV electrical system and other electrical components. It provides various voltages with high output power for the flexible connection of different loads.

- Regulated AC voltage: EU or NAFTA grid, single-phase and/or three-phase
- Regulated DC power supply to a body load from the HV on-board network
- Regulated power feed from a HV DC body load to the HV on-board network
- Hot-plug capability with high starting currents
- Communication with the vehicle's on-board network management
- Measurement of currents and voltages at the HV body connection
- Safety functions:
overvoltage protection, active discharge, active equalization of the body load, monitoring of the potential connection, insulation monitoring
